भारतीय कानून के अनुसार, निम्नलिखित व्यक्ति उत्तराधिकार प्रमाणपत्र के लिए आवेदन कर सकते हैं: कानूनी उत्तराधिकारी: मृत व्यक्ति का कोई भी कानूनी उत्तराधिकारी उत्तराधिकार प्रमाण पत्र के लिए आवेदन कर सकता है। कानूनी उत्तराधिकारियों में मृतक के पति/पत्नी, बच्चे, माता-पिता और भाई-बहन शामिल हो सकते हैं। नॉमिनी: यदि मृत व्यक्ति ने किसी विशेष संपत्ति के लिए किसी व्यक्ति को नामांकित किया है, तो नॉमिनी उस संपत्ति के उत्तराधिकार प्रमाण पत्र के लिए आवेदन कर सकता है। लेनदार: यदि एक लेनदार के पास मृत व्यक्ति के खिलाफ कर्ज या दावा है, तो वे कर्ज की वसूली के लिए उत्तराधिकार प्रमाण पत्र के लिए आवेदन कर सकते हैं। यह ध्यान रखना महत्वपूर्ण है कि उत्तराधिकार प्रमाणपत्र के लिए कौन आवेदन कर सकता है, इसके नियम भारत में विशिष्ट राज्य या केंद्र शासित प्रदेश के आधार पर थोड़े भिन्न हो सकते हैं।
