The general process for filing an online cybercrime complaint is: Visit the Cyber Crime Reporting Portal Go to the official National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. Select the type of cybercrime and follow the instructions provided. Choose the Complaint Category Select the appropriate category, such as: Financial fraud. Social media crime. Online harassment. Identity theft. Hacking. Data theft. Other cyber offences. Provide Incident Details Enter details such as: Date and time of the incident. Description of the offence. Details of the accused, if known.
