भारत में सर्वोच्च न्यायालय की स्थापना कब हुई?

भारत के संविधान के 26 जनवरी 1950 को लागू होने के दो दिन बाद 28 जनवरी 1950 को भारत के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय की स्थापना की गई थी। इसने भारत के संघीय न्यायालय का स्थान लिया, जिसे 1937 में भारत सरकार अधिनियम, 1935 के तहत स्थापित किया गया था। स्वतंत्र भारत के नए लोकतांत्रिक और संवैधानिक ढांचे के तहत भारत में सर्वोच्च न्यायिक प्राधिकरण के रूप में सर्वोच्च न्यायालय का निर्माण किया गया था। इसकी स्थापना के बारे में मुख्य तथ्य: सर्वोच्च न्यायालय की पहली बैठक 28 जनवरी 1950 को हुई थी। इसे शुरू में संसद भवन में चैंबर ऑफ प्रिंसेस में रखा गया था। वर्तमान सर्वोच्च न्यायालय भवन का उद्घाटन 1958 में हुआ था। सर्वोच्च न्यायालय संविधान का संरक्षक है, जो न्याय, समानता और मौलिक अधिकारों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करता है। यह दीवानी, आपराधिक और संवैधानिक मामलों में अपील की अंतिम अदालत के रूप में भी कार्य करता है।
